The main purpose of the audit was to verify preparedness for possible emergencies, to prevent their occurrence and development, as well as to identify potential emergencies. In addition, the audit included planning and specification of actions, technical means of employees and special units to eliminate emergencies, training, assessment of staff qualifications and elimination of deficiencies.

As part of the external audit, specialists conducted an inspection of industrial safety and labor protection in such departments of the plant as the Electric Steelmaking Workshop, Long products production, Ball rolling production, non-ferrous metals production and Production of thermal insulation materials.

According to the results of the recertification external audit on behalf of the Board of the Management Systems Certification Body, the compliance of "Uzmetkombinat JSC with the requirements of industrial safety and labor protection, as well as international standards of the occupational health and safety management system was confirmed. The plant has received the O'z DSt ISO 45001:2020 / ISO 45001:2018 certificate and the international ISO 45001:2018 certificate, which meets the requirements of international standards of the occupational health and safety management system.
