In this regard, an event was also held at JSC "Uzmetkombinat," where information was provided on crimes involving young people, particularly violations related to the distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances.

The event, organized by the plant's Trade Union Committee, took place in the hall of the Section Rolling Division. It was attended by officers from the Bekabad City Department of Internal Affairs' rapid search service and criminal investigation unit – Rahmatullo Jamoliddinov and Oybek Abdusattorov. They provided the plant's youth with valuable insights on the topic. It was emphasized that drug use poses a serious threat to human health, leading to both mental and physical deterioration. A person who consumes drugs becomes enslaved to them, losing all possessions to this destructive habit and eventually being drawn into criminal activities.

During the event, these issues were discussed in detail, highlighting the devastating consequences of drug addiction, which can lead to the breakdown of families. It was stressed that everyone must actively fight against this menace. Informational booklets were distributed, and videos depicting the tragic outcomes of drug abuse were shown.
