Joint-Stock Company “Uzbek Metallurgical Plant” announces the resignation of Tatyana Alexandrovna Budey from her position as Deputy Chairman of the Board for Financial, Economic, and Transformation Affairs by mutual agreement of the parties

Joint Stock Company "Uzbek Metallurgical Plant" (RSE: UZMK) (hereinafter referred to as "Uzmetkombinat" or "the Company"), a leading producer of ferrous metallurgy products in Uzbekistan, announces the resignation of Tatiana Alexandrovna Budei, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Financial, Economic, and Transformation Affairs, by mutual agreement, on March 3, 2025. The decision has been approved by the Company's Supervisory Board.

T.A. Budei joined the plant on March 11, 2021, and made a significant contribution to the development of the financial sector and the transformation of the company.

Commenting on her leaving, T.A. Budei stated:

"After working at Uzmetkombinat JSC for four years and contributing to the development of the company, I have decided to step down from my position of my own accord. This was a well-considered decision based on personal circumstances. I would like to express my gratitude to all my colleagues and partners for their professionalism, support, and collaboration”.

Chairman of the Management Board and General Director D.T. Akhmedov added:

"T.A. Budei has had a significant impact on the company's transformation. Thanks to her professionalism, key initiatives have been successfully implemented, including access to international capital markets and the integration of ESG principles. Her contribution will serve as a solid foundation for further development."

The position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Financial, Economic, and Transformation Affairs remains vacant, and a new appointment will be announced in due course.

Note:

T.A. Budei began her career at Uzmetkombinat on March 11, 2021, as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board for Financial Affairs. At Uzmetkombinat JSC, she was responsible for the development of the company's financial function, corporate governance, ESG agenda, and financing of major investment projects and operational activities.

She graduated from the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation in 2001 and earned an MBA from the Russian-German Higher School of Management at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation in 2008. Since 2008, she has held senior finance management positions in companies within the oil and gas and energy sectors.

She is married and has three children.
