JSC "Uzmetkombinat" to Host Earth Hour Campaign

On March 26, our country will observe Earth Hour. Earth Hour is a special campaign aimed at conserving natural resources and caring for our planet.

As part of this initiative, the campaign will also take place at JSC "Uzmetkombinat." Today, during the lunch break, lighting, computer equipment, cooling and heating systems, and other electrical appliances will be turned off for one hour in the company’s structural divisions, service, and administrative buildings and facilities (excluding production units).

Earth Hour was first organized in 2007 by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The organizers urge people around the world to turn off their lights and household electrical appliances for 60 minutes as a sign of concern for environmental issues. Earth Hour is the world's largest environmental initiative, during which the lighting of famous buildings and monuments worldwide is also turned off.
