The meeting was chaired by Akhmadjon Hakulov, Chairman of the Republican Council of Trade Unions of Metallurgy and Mechanical Engineering Workers and an Honored Industrial Worker of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The first item on the agenda was the report by Elzara Veliullayeva, Chairwoman of the Trade Union Committee of “Uzmetkombinat” JSC, on the implementation of the collective agreement and its annexes in 2024, as well as the committee’s future tasks in protecting the socio-economic rights and interests of workers.

Additionally, speeches were given by A. Vokhidov, Head of the Central Laboratory of the Combine, A. Stulov, Head of the Non-Ferrous Metals Production Department, and B. Eshonkulov, Head of the Railway Service. They highlighted the social and material support provided by the trade union committee to the workers of the combine.

Following this, in accordance with the Charter of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, the election of the Chairperson of the Trade Union Committee was held through a secret ballot. According to the results of the vote count, Elzara Veliullayeva was elected as the Chairwoman of the Trade Union Committee of “Uzmetkombinat” JSC.

The meeting also included the election of members of the Trade Union Committee and the Audit Commission of the Trade Union Committee of “Uzmetkombinat” JSC.
