AN EVENT DEDICATED TO ZERO TOLERANCE TOWARD CORRUPTION WAS HELD

On March 18, 2025, the Ministry of Mining and Geology held an event attended by the central office, heads of subordinate enterprises, and compliance officers to discuss the implementation of tasks and objectives set during the extended meeting on March 5, 2025, chaired by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the effectiveness of anti-corruption measures and future priorities.

The meeting, led by Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology U. Yusupov, was attended by the Head of the Department of the General Prosecutor's Office, Z. S. Hazratqulov.
The event emphasized the need to prevent corruption cases, eliminate conflicts of interest, strengthen cooperation between the ministry, its subordinate enterprises, and law enforcement agencies, and enhance the vigilance of compliance control officers as a key requirement of the time. Participants received answers to all their questions from the responsible authorities.
The leadership and compliance officers of "Uzmetkombinat" JSC also participated in this anti-corruption awareness event via video conference.
